The Scripture for Today!

14th December 2019

1st Corinthians 13 vs 6. it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.

Today’s scripture lets you the reader know that love does not like wrong, it does not derive pleasure from such things. For example, if a man or women, in a relationship was treating each other badly, mistreating, using and abusing each other, be it verbally, emotionally, or cursing, using cuss words. Love is not happy with this, it does not like this. However what love does like is the truth, in fact, love rejoices with the truth. It loves truth, works with truth, and is happy with the truth. For example, a way you rejoice with the truth is to tell the truth, and be honest, via communications, relationships, and friendships. Love don’t lie, it tells the truth.

As they say, the truth is the truth, one can’t argue with the truth. The truth, makes one free, lie keeps one bound, and deceived. That’s not part of loves nature or character. Love loves, and does the right thing, speaks and tells the truth, and rejoices.

Today decide to shun wrong, and rejoice with the truth, as love rejoice with the truth.

The Scripture For Today!

13th December 2019

1st Corinthians 13 vs 5. or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;

Today’s scripture tells you what love is not. It tells you that love is not rude. So if anyone is being rude to you, that is not love. That is disrespect, mistreatment, and is not a way that you should be treated.

As a Christian, you should not be rude, you should love people, and treat them with respect. Treat them, the way you would like to be treated that should be your reference how to treat people and look to Jesus how he treated people. Treat people right is right. Jesu was not rude, but embraced, and loved people. He was not rude but considerate, thoughtful, and caring. We should be that way too, as that shows love. Rudeness don’t show love. As a Christian, you should show love, daily and glorify God.

Love does not insist on it’s own way! It puts others first. For example, it could be your turn, but you let others go first. When driving you give others way, although you have the right of way. You let people speak first. You allow others, before yourself, that is displaying, showing, applying love to life, and Living, Love serves others, with a good attitude, no moaning, look at Jesus as an example, he could have moaned but he didn’t, he served, and loved, with a good attitude. You can too, as Jesus is, so are YOU, in this world.

Love is not irritable, this means it is even tempered, cool, calm. It does not easily be, become annoyed. So if you are easily bothered, overly sensitive, negative mood and attitude, your not acting, behaving out, from love. And if others are this way, with you, or in general, they are not functioning from a place of love because Love is not irritable. It is gentle, calm, patient, non irritable, quite the opposite to irritable. Love does not behave irritable, moody, or rude.

Love is not resentful, it don’t hold offense, it lets it go, and moves on. Love does not pollute, corrupt it’s self with resentment, it forgives, and forgets, it does not allow negative to bind it, keep it bound, it does not resent, it forgives, and you can too, you as a child if God, has love in your heart, you can forgive offence, let it go, move on, and hold no ill feelings.

You can start from today, apply forgiveness, to your relationships, as love is not easily offended, angered, or irritated, it forgives offense, and loves… you can start today, applying this aspect of love to your relationship, friendships, your life, and life. Do that from today forward, and have more blessed friendships, communications, and relationships. Remember, people are people, they are human, and will offend, it is what it is, but you are in charge of how you react respond, respond with love, biblical love.

You can start with today’s scripture, and the examples via this daily devotional, start applying it, and improve you relationships, friendships, and communication, through applying biblical love.

The Scripture For Today!

12th December 2019

1st Corinthians 13 vs 4. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant

Love is from God, Love is eternal, God is love, and love is God. Biblical love, 1st Corinthians 13 vs 4-8. Is everlasting, life giving love. It uplifts, comforts helps, supports is there for others and don’t disrespect but others, but gives more. More love more life more strength. It is goodness, love is goodness.

Today’s scripture 1st Corinthians 13 vs 4, lets us know what love is, it’s character, quality, and attributes. Love is patient, that means it does not rush, rush people or things, it waits, is able to endure without being anxious, frustrated, or angry, it is calm, cool, considerate, and controlled, and long suffering, it perceivers, it is even tempered. Love being patient means it does not rush, it tolerates, and accepts delays without moaning, everything with good cheer. For example patience applied, through love. One waiting in a long line, and has an appointment, the waiting in line is delaying, the person, the person has options, be rude, moan, be ill mannered or deal with the delay with love, a loving attitude, and wait, be patient. This is what love would, do, and how it would display itself. It would be cool, self controlled, and of good cheer. Patience, applied through love.

Love is kind, it gives. An example of this is, one has an appointment, however a friend having a tough time, needs your time, comfort to be consoled. Love stays, and listens, it’s kind it gives it’s time, and supports. This is a display of being kind, through love, love gives, and puts others before it’s self. Love is not selfish, self centered.

Love had all it needs, it is content and complete, satisfied, happy. It does not envy, meaning it is not jealous. It does not desire others things or to be like others, it’s happy with what it has, and needs not envy. Love does not envy, applied one has more then one, love not envying is truly happy for the person, biding people well.

Love does not boast, it does things, and leaves it at that. Love not boasting applied to life, it does a great performance, it blesses people. Love does not puff up it’s self and brag and boast it did it. It is modest, it goes on for doing great things, it does not boast, saying I did, love is humble. Love It is not arrogant, meaning it does not see it’s self above others. Love not being arrogant applied, on is in a line, been waiting, but let’s one in front. That’s being none arrogant, putting one before oneself, and not thinking, esteeming one more important then others, that’s being none arrogant through love, giving up ones right for another, instead of insisting on ones right, one lets others go in front be first. None arrogant, through love. Love is spiritual, scriptural, read today’s scripture, and apply it to life, your life, with God you can.

Today’s devotional, and scripture is packed with ways you can apply love, and tells YOU, gives you examples how you can show, display love. So today, now knowing, apply Godly, Biblical love to your day, life, relationships communication. More love, more life. Bless.

Shalom…

The Scripture For Today!

11th December 2019

Psalm 90 vs 17. Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!

Praise God, praise God, Praise God, for God is good. He gives his people favor, how wonderful is that? It is wonderful. Indeed. He wants us to progress, yet he knows we need others at times to help, to help us do the work, he provides such people. And he knows we require favor, God gives it. This helps us do his work just like Jesus needed the anointing and power from God to do his work, ministry, what HE was on earth for. We need Gods favor, to do his work.

Today pray to God, and ask for his favor, believe and receive, and get to doing Gods work. You have the favor of God, upon you already, via virtue of being a child of God, but you can always, request, ask, trust, believe and pray for more, (more favor), and do Gods work.

With Gods favor you can establish, great, powerful, and wonderful things, and you can do great, powerful, and mighty things.

The Scripture For Today!

10th December 2019

Psalm 90 vs 16. Let your work be shown to your servants, and your glorious power to their children.

God is good. He does good things. His work is wonderful, and amazing. Words can not at times say how splendid Gods work is. It’s that overwhelming. That is The God we serve, a God of marvelous, works and wonders, one who does great things, create great things and is great.

Moses in this scripture for today, is asking God to show his work to his people, (Gods people) and to show his glorious POWER…to their children. This would be great, as this would, would have showed them Gods goodness, greatness, work and power, and even possibly increased their truth, believe, faith and knowledge regarding God. Moses requested, prayed on their behalf, you can too.

Today pause and pray. You can decide to use, pray this scripture and request what Moses did or you could simply talk, and speaks to God from the overflow of your heart, and mind. Or you can request what Moses requested via the scripture for today.

Psalm 90 vs 15. Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us,

The Scripture For Today!

8th December 2019

Psalms 90 vs 14. Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love,
that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Gods love is amazing, it is so warm, and wonderful. One can liken, it to an umbrella, an envelop, a cushion. You should treasure, enjoy and cherish Gods love, dearly, daily.

Moses the writer of this the scripture for today, is saying as soon as the day starts for God to satisfy them with his love. He prays it for all. Moses knows that Gods love is steadfast, and it can help them to rejoice and be glad. Moses knows if God satisfy them with his steadfast love early, they will rejoice, (be happy), content full of happiness, and they will be glad (thankful, content). This shows that Gods steadfast love is what we need daily, to rejoice and be glad. We don’t need material, need to chase things to make us happy, we need Gods steadfast love every am. So today, like right now, pause, and pray today’s scripture, ask God what Moses asked God ” Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love,
that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.” and enjoy Gods love, refreshing, bask in his love, (steadfast live), rejoice, and be glad, ALL your days.

Today decide to bask in Gods love, stead fast love, and give thanks. It’s a blessing, and a privilege to be loved by God, indeed it is.

The Scripture For Today!

7th December 2019

Psalm 90 vs 13. Return, O Lord! How long? Have pity on your servants!

Moses wrote this psalm, it could have been when there was trials and tribulations going on. He may could not receive no more so his clearly crying out to God, to come and deal with it, to have mercy on the people. It must have been hard for Moses to live during those years, but he did the righteous, right thing and cry, called on God.

As a Christian, you can too. You can call on God, cry out to God, pray on behalf of nations people. You also God talk to God, your prayer,s can help. As the prayer of a righteous man avails much. God hears and answer your prayer, s. Your his child, be like Moses, and talk, cry out to God today. God hears you, your hearts cry. Call upon God, tell him your heart.

Re read the scripture for today, have compassion. Pause, and Pray, cry out to God today. Cry out to God on their behalf, pray for the nations, people.

Watch and pray Jesus said, are you doing that, as a Christian? You can start today, be like Moses, cry out to God.

The Scripture For Today!

6th December 2019

Psalms 90 vs 12 So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.

As Christians we do not know everything. We need wisdom to know, understand things, and to apply to certain situations, circumstances and things, like a plaster to a graze. We need wisdom, we need wisdom to live and number our days, to live well, to live our best life, to live life, to get on with life, and we need wisdom to be the best we can and ort to be.

God can teach you, to number your days, and you can gain a heart of wisdom. Is that not great? Indeed it is, we serve a God that can teach us, teach us to number our days.

Today pray to God to teach you how to number your days, so YOU can gain a heart of wisdom. Ask God for wisdom, trust and believe he will give it to you, and use, apply, bask, and enjoy the wisdom HE, God gives to you, treasure it, like a pearl. Wisdom from God is that valuable. Wisdom can make you live right, act right, be right, it can help you to stay on the straight, and narrow. Wisdom can help you succeed, and be wise.
